"Byrne will provide operational suport for 2014 in his capacity as a consultant," said a Ferrari spokesman.
Byrne is not a new name in the Ferrari. He is a key figure in designing the Ferrari racing cars in the early decade of 2000. Thanks to the cold hand, managed to dominate F1 Ferrari with Michael Schumacher in the drivers seat.
After a decade of tenure as head designer, Byrne quit Ferrari at the 2006 season. Although he had resigned from the team, Byrne was called not completely separated from the Prancing Horse team logo.
