The system enables communication between vehicles with other vehicles and traffic infrastructure. According to Mercedes, this system allows the rider to receive early notification of potential hazards so that they can take appropriate action and even help avoid critical situations.
 
For example, if the car is equipped with the technology Car-to-X strike or involved in an accident on the highway, the driver in the other vehicle will be well informed so that they can move to another lane.
 
The system also provides traffic information more accurately so that they can avoid the congestion area. This system will also be offered as part of the package 'Drive Kit Plus'. To enjoy this facility users only need a smart phone and Digital DriveStyle applications.
